Initial Ceremony Information

This is the first post in our wedding/union/partnership/yadda yadda yadda blog. We hope you are able to join us in April. Here's the deal as far as we know it now:

Location: Chautauqua Green, Baseline Road at 9th Street, Boulder, CO
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2008
Time: 4pm
Weather: Beautiful, sunny, cloudless, birds chirping, deer hopping along the meadow (right?)

Seriously, though, it is an outdoor April wedding. Colorado's weather is as close to ideal as one could imagine, but just in case, you might want to bring a sweater. We will continue to keep an eye on the weather conditions and update the blog closer to the date. In the meantime, please help us visualize the weather conditions as described above.

Weather: don't really care once we get inside

For anyone who has never been graced with the opportunity to eat at Sunflower, let us say you should come to our ceremony simply for the food. Delicious, organic, local, seasonal food. One meal basically annuls all sin and carbon emissions you may have put out in your lifetime.

The aim of this whole deal since its inception is to keep things very simple. No dance floors, no DJs, not even a wedding party- just the people we love and a good dinner. If our union is graced by anything, it is unorthodoxy. We are hosting this party in the same fashion. We hope you can join us.
